Busy Summer

Ok so it's summer here all year round. I heard you guys are having a heat wave, well I was actually cold last night so please don't believe I'm suffering like you, although on the hot nights/days I do not have the option of A/C.

I've been running around alot the last few weeks, with my IST, a week long traning with my original traning group. I had the great fortune to visit a great project that involved a field day for the kids and a family planning seminar. Definatly wanting to replicat that for my village and I have an appointment next week to talk to the village doctor so we can start planning it!

Right now the new group of traniees are doing there site visit and I got to show off Dounet to the new Mamou volonteer she is a fantastic addition to the neighboorhood and will be teaching English at the high school starting in October.

Well my 26th birthday is here (yeiks I'm kinda freaking out) but b/c the other volunteers here are amazing were are having a kick-butt par-te tomorrow! I'm totally excited and totally in denile of the actual 2-6 number. Please for all of you older then me reading this stop gaging and saying your so young, blah blah, I know I need 5 minutes to freak out then I'll be fine and realize I'm under thirty for now and that's fine with me!

As for other news I am totally preoccupied with my trip to Egypt and can't wait to see my mother in 3 weeks!!!!!!

Ok I hope all is well at home. I'll try to post again before Egypt!

Love,
Rasa
